Quant Signals
Quant Signals is a dedicated terminal for probabilistic model evidence over the supported equity universe. It separates model output from the asset’s current market move.
Model Pulse
Section titled “Model Pulse”The Model Pulse summary derives its values from the loaded market roster and signal set. It can show:
- covered names relative to the available universe;
- live and expired coverage;
- bullish, neutral, and bearish bias distribution;
- anomaly count;
- sector-level tilt;
- latest generation and next expiry context.
If the signal source is unavailable, the page leaves signal counts unavailable instead of displaying fabricated zeros. The market roster can remain usable while a non-blocking signal error is shown.
Signals and Index views
Section titled “Signals and Index views”Signals shows names with a model record. Index shows the broader supported roster, including names with no signal. Search, sector filters, and sorting narrow the active view.
“No signal” is a valid coverage state, not a hidden neutral recommendation. If the market roster itself cannot load, the page shows a blocking error and retry action.
Signal inspector
Section titled “Signal inspector”Selecting a covered name opens a verdict inspector. It can show directional bias, forecast strength, confidence, anomaly score, expected volatility, generation and expiry state, and the available forecast, volatility, and anomaly components.
The inspector also displays latest price and current change for context and can hand the symbol to Market Desk. On smaller screens, the same detail is presented in an expandable sheet.
Coverage and data quality
Section titled “Coverage and data quality”Coverage is a curated subset of the roster and can change. The page distinguishes active signals, expired signals, and names with no signal. It does not display a per-signal data-quality status.
Data-quality gating happens upstream, before a signal reaches this terminal. A missing signal can therefore reflect coverage, generation, expiry, or upstream gating; it is not a displayed neutral or quality verdict. Use the generation and expiry context shown on the page to judge freshness. See Quantitative Signal System and Data Freshness Reference.
Watchlist workflow
Section titled “Watchlist workflow”Users with watchlist-management permission can add the inspected symbol to an existing watchlist or create a watchlist for it. If the action fails, the popup shows a failure state. Users without the permission see the control disabled rather than a simulated success.
Continue with Watchlists to monitor the asset alongside event and alert evidence.
Correct interpretation
Section titled “Correct interpretation”Bias describes a probabilistic forecast horizon; it is not the movement shown for the current session. Strength describes the magnitude of model bias, confidence describes support for the output, and anomaly describes unusualness. Upstream quality checks determine whether an input window is suitable, but that status is not shown as a per-signal label on this page. None is a trade instruction.
